Figured wood has been prized for its beauty, mystery and universal appeal for centuries.  I have always been drawn to wood that is rich in color, luster, texture and grain.  I prefer a more organic free-form design using natural or live edges.  Each piece  should be designed individually to the shape and characteristics of the wood being used.  I sometimes incorporate found objects into the design of the project and every piece is one of a kind.
